DIRA Fashion was founded by Divya Mangatilipoonath and Rahul Ambikasadanam, a husband-and-wife team who decided to take a leap of faith and turn a shared dream into reality. The name DIRA holds a special place in our hearts. It is formed by combining the first two letters of our names—DI from Divya and RA from Rahul. Beyond that personal connection, DIRA is also derived from Indira, another name for Goddess Lakshmi, symbolizing beauty, splendor, and prosperity. What started as a small idea between two people turned into a shared dream and a growing brand. The name reflects not only our partnership but also the courage to take risks, follow our passion, and build something meaningful from the ground up.

Hi, we’re Divya and Rahul — the husband-and-wife duo behind DIRA Fashion.
I’m Divya. For years, I worked in the IT industry — a career that offered stability but never truly sparked joy. Deep down, I always dreamed of doing something more creative, something that gave me freedom, fulfillment, and the chance to build something of my own. That’s how DIRA Fashion was born.
Jewelry and design have always held a special place in my heart. Some time ago, I co-founded a handmade jewelry brand with two of my closest friends. Though life’s demands put that dream on pause, the passion to create never left me.
With Rahul’s constant support and encouragement, I finally took the leap to start fresh. Together, we built DIRA Fashion, a brand that reflects our belief that fashion should be simple, stylish, comfortable, and accessible to everyone. Today, Rahul and I work side by side, blending creativity, dedication, and heart into everything we do.
For us, DIRA Fashion is more than just jewelry. It’s about creating pieces that help people feel special, confident, and effortlessly themselves—whether for a special occasion or everyday life. We want every person who chooses DIRA to feel like they’re part of something personal and meaningful.
